YAYASAN MR. D.I.Y. is committed to fostering educational opportunities and empowering students to reach their full potential. Through scholarships, the foundation enables deserving students to pursue higher education without financial barriers, nurturing future leaders by promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
Additionally, its back-to-school initiatives have benefited over 7,000 students from underserved communities by providing essential school supplies—easing financial burdens on families and encouraging children to stay in school.
Recognizing the critical role of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in shaping future-ready talent, YAYASAN MR. D.I.Y. collaborates with the National Science Centre on the “STEM Discovery on Wheels” program. This nationwide initiative brings interactive and hands-on learning experiences directly to schools and communities. It aims to spark curiosity, strengthen critical thinking, and make science and mathematics accessible and exciting for students of all backgrounds. YAYASAN MR. D.I.Y. also runs its own STEM Discovery on Wheels tour throughout the year, reaching schools nationwide to enhance STEM education in a fun, engaging way.
Preserving Tomorrow
YAYASAN MR. D.I.Y. contributes to environmental conservation through various impactful initiatives. The foundation supports tree planting efforts to combat deforestation and promote greener landscapes.
It is also dedicated to animal conservation, focusing on protecting species such as turtles, giraffes, elephants, and tigers, ensuring their survival for future generations. Additionally, YAYASAN MR. D.I.Y. organizes beach and river clean-up activities, addressing pollution and fostering cleaner ecosystems while raising public awareness about the importance of preserving natural habitats.
Through these initiatives, the foundation demonstrates its commitment to a sustainable and thriving environment.
Launched in 2022, the MR. D.I.Y. Art Competition has inspired countless artists to share their stories through creative expression.
The competition serves as a platform to foster creativity and artistic expression among participants of all ages. In line with the company’s commitment to community engagement and innovation, it encourages individuals to showcase their unique talents through art. Young artists also took part under the public category, contributing to a vibrant and diverse display of creativity. Notably, several winning entries beautifully incorporated elements of Malay, Chinese, Indian, Iban, and Kadazan cultures—demonstrating how art can transcend cultural boundaries.
Featuring two categories—public and educational institutions—the competition broadens participation and celebrates the wide-ranging talents of Malaysians. By offering a space for recognition, the initiative nurtures artistic potential, promotes awareness of social and environmental issues, and reinforces MR. D.I.Y.’s role in creating a positive impact within the community.
